USG course – neck

 

USG course – neck (12 x 45 min.), including:

Theoretical classes – lectures (5 x 45 min.):

1. Introduction to ultrasound (incl. the physical basics of ultrasound, the “knobology” of ultrasound machines).
2. Ultrasound diagnostics of the thyroid and parathyroid glands.
3. Ultrasound diagnostics of the salivary glands.
4. Ultrasound diagnostics of the lymph nodes.
5. Other neck tumors.
6. Ultrasound diagnostics of the neck vessels (carotid and vertebral arteries, jugular veins) – basics.

Practical classes – exercises (7 x 45 minutes) conducted on models, simulator and patients.
